Remote Marketing Automation Manager (Senior, IBM Acoustic Campaign, WW)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION::

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Automation Manager with a background in digital marketing and omnichannel automation. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will be working on the front lines with some major regional and Fortune 500 brands including, Vancity, El Pollo Loco, IBM, and Disney+, so excellent time management and organizational skills are key. You will be leveraging the latest in AI and Machine Learning technology, so continuous learning to stay current is a must! Revenue Automation is a rapidly growing marketing technology company and we’re looking for more ambitious, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented employees to grow and manage all our new clients.

As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will need excellent communication and time management skills as well strong familiarity with HTML/CSS, Databases & Query logic, as well as experience working with client brand books and data integrations via FTP and APIs. To be a successful candidate, you will need to be detail-oriented, a great team player, have a desire to learn, and keep up with changes in technology. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will manage the day-to-day planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple clients and coordinate teams of Marketing Automation Specialists, Designers, Developers, and whoever else may be involved in a project.

PROJECT STACK and TEAM::
  • What is the team size? Revenue Automation has about 10 core employees and we work with another dozen or so contractors.
  • When do you have daily stand-ups? EST 9:30 am PST, 6:30 am EST
  • What is the duration of the assignment? (12 months, 18 months, ongoing?) Ongoing.
  • Please provide details of the interview process. (Test Task, behavioral interview, committee interview, etc.?) Behavioral and Committee
  • What is the onboarding process & timeline? Up to three months more focused on training with our specific MarTech stack and getting to know our client list.
  • When is the ideal start date? ASAP, please.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS::
  • 5+ years in a Marketing Automation or Communications role

  • Familiarity with Acoustic Campaign (aka Silverpop), Marketo, Exact Target or any other Email Service Provider is preferred

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS knowledge is preferred. JS knowledge would be excellent

  • Familiarity with Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES::
  • Lead the planning, implementation, & delivery of digital marketing automation initiatives

  • Manage the creative and production teams both internally and for clients and 3rd party vendors

  • Provide input & ideas to improve marketing campaigns

  • Support scoping and budgeting for new campaigns, projects, and clients

  • Support sales process when required

  • Ensure quality assurance processes are executed on data, links & email rendering across all email clients & web browsers

  • Learn marketing automation strategies & flows designed to increase lift and online conversion rates

  • Proactively monitor industry best practices

  • Manage detailed projects and manage both in house and external teams and resources to deliver on time and on budget

  • Learn and grow your skills (with our support, of course)
