Remote DevOps Engineer (Senior to Lead, AWS+Kafka, Fundraising, EUR&LATAM)

  • We’re creating a new system that helps teams get the resources they need to build the next generation of leaders. We are looking for someone who can help us take our products to the next level. Multiple fast-paced projects.
  • As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the infrastructure team, you will be working on developing solutions for our supporting systems, such as SSO and Universal Login. At times this role will require you to work closely with other domains to help them integrate the solutions you build.
  • The primary stack will focus on AWS and Kafka, and a possibility of dabbling into Node js, Postgre SQL, etc., for integration help. You will help us build and support systems such as API gateways, SSO, Unified UI, Centralized Logging, Kafka (as an event system, and CDC broker).


  • You main responsibility is to help us building and supporting systems such as SSO, Unified UI, Centralized Logging, Kafka (as an event system and CDC broker)
  • Projects stack: AWS, Kafka, Docker, NodeJS, TypeScript, Redis, PostgreSQL, Vue, Web Components
  • Daily-stand-ups at 10.30 am Dallas time

Agile, 2 months cycles development
CD – deploy multiple times a day

Interview process:

1-30 mins Evolve HR/Tech screening
2-60-120 mins Code exercise
3-60 mins Team interview (review a Code exercise + additional questions like adding an operator, or extend this or that here)
4-20 mins Director of Engineering chat


  • 7+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years of Cloud development and DevOps practices

  • 3+ years working professionally with AWS (3 or more different projects with AWS)

  • 2+ years working professionally with Kafka (2 or more different projects with Kafka)

  • Docker, Docker, compose knowledge is an important part of our day-to-day process.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of how distributed and monolithic architectures work

  • Nice to have – Experience with one or more programming languages such as Rails OR JS OR Python or any other OOP or Functional programming language.
  • AWS Cognito knowledge is a big plus
  • Kubernetes experience is a plus
  • A clear understanding of event-driven systems

  • 2+ years working with any SOLID grasp of programming paradigms and patterns

  • Help build and support systems such as SSO, Unified UI, Centralized Logging, Kafka (as an event system and CDC broker)
  • Work closely with a dynamic group of people in various time zones

  • Build, test, and maintain across the full cycle within a domain

  • Develop services and APIs used by distributed systems

  • Own development, quality, and maintenance of each service

  • Own security and monitoring on everything developed

  • Consider user experience in all aspects of development
