As a Talend ETL Engineer, you will work with a world-class, energetic team to develop and maintain an automated hybrid on-prem/cloud ETL pipeline. You will work in an agile environment implementing sustainable and future-resilient design patterns and best practices and will set the standard in an ecosystem of the latest technologies in the marketplace, tackling challenging problems in the process.

  • Pune, India – 1 team
  • 10 Engineers and QA’s in Pune
  • Daily stand-ups are around 9 am – 11.30 am EDT (depends on team)

✓ 5+ Years experience developing Talend BigData (Spark EMR) edition ETL/ELT processes

✓ Excellent, hands-on knowledge of AWS S3 and EMR
✓ Working experience and solid foundation of software quality assurance processes

✓ Solid foundation in software UAT and Defect Management in a CICD environment
✓ 5+ years of experience in testing business applications, experience with distributed systems

✓ 2+ Experience developing and debugging Autosys jobs
✓ Hands-on, working knowledge of modern CICD processes and GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins
✓ Experience following standards and best practices for software testing automation
✓ Self-starter that can come up to speed on the existing solution and take ownership
✓ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
✓ Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
✓ Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal
✓ BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline



  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
    Experience working in an Agile environment, comfortable with iterative SDLC

    Ability and willingness to provide technical support & tracking of risks/issues
    Understanding business applications deployment strategies
    Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    Hands-on experience querying MS SQL databases
    Good understanding of JSON, XML, ORC, Parquet and other open standards for data interchange


Design, Develop and Test Talend BigData (Spark EMR) edition ETL/ELT processes
Ownership of SDLC processes for project task delivery
Define test scenarios, write test cases & build test plans
Provide Talend application technical support
Develop and schedule Autosys and Talend TAC jobs and process monitoring
Implement automated test cases, perform non-regression analysis, analyses test results to validate new functionalities in close collaboration with other team members
Proactively solving technical challenges
Contribute ideas on the development of the technical data transformation ecosystem
Review application documentation to ensure a smooth hand over to QA and PO’s / PM
Set up any additional quality control and metrics the team might need
Work closely with your offshore and onshore technical and management colleagues in troubleshooting and problem-solving
