PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Downloaded more than 100 million times, our software enables DevOps teams around the globe to accelerate the software delivery process by automating database updates, security, and governance. We are a nimble, fast-paced, innovative team with the opportunity to make an outsized impact on the business and the industry.
Our client is hiring a Senior Software Engineer who will augment a high-throughput high-accountability team of tenured engineers developing the next-gen Liquibase platform experience. Your primary focus will be to deliver full-stack end-to-end features that simplify and accelerate the database change management feedback loop with a security-first mindset.

The core team is based in the United States, with additional developers located across LATAM in Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. Working hours will follow the EST.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years of hands-on experience with: RESTful APIs, Node, TypeScript, Modern SPA Frameworks, automated testing, Git or similar VCS
3+ years of experience with: React (Express.js preferred), at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, CockroachDB, etc), Docker, Database ORMs
Proficiency utilizing Agentic coding tools to augment development processes (e.g. Claude Code).
A self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience thriving in a distributed remote-first work environment
GOOD TO HAVE:
Prior experience shipping “on prem” software, and the challenges associated with such delivery mechanisms.
Experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, EKS, ECS, GKE, AKS)
Experience consuming and integrating with Identity Providers (especially by way of federated protocols)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Designing, implementing and shipping scalable and efficient end-to-end solutions capable of high throughput with a security-first mindset.
Leveraging your expertise to delight customers through intuitive and familiar user experiences throughout the customer journey in the next-generation Liquibase experience.
Coding across a variety of technologies including PostgreSQL, NestJS, Next.js, Node, TypeScript, Java.
Collaborating with our Product team to ensure work is aligned with business needs and solves customer problems.
Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and trust within the New Technologies team and the engineering organization at large.
