PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Our client is scaling its next-generation platform architecture, moving away from monolithic publishing paradigms toward a decoupled, high-utility data authority. We are expanding our digital footprint across internal intelligence engines, customer-facing interfaces, and headless integrations.
We need a high-velocity contractor who operates with extreme leverage, minimal supervision, and clean architecture principles to turn architectural specs into shippable code.
PROJECT STACK and TEAM:
The contract is 9 months with possible 3 months extension.
Working hours US Eastern Time.
Location: LATAM

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
Production Mastery: 3+ years shipping robust web applications in production environments with Next.js, React, modern TypeScript, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
Modern Deployment Tooling: Deep hands-on experience with Vercel edge runtime, modern GitHub Actions pipelines, and structured branching workflows.
Pragmatic AI Engineering: Demonstrated proficiency in using agentic IDE workflows to amplify velocity while actively guarding against hallucinated dependencies and architectural bloat.
Autonomous Delivery: Ability to pick up rigorous technical specifications, self-unblock, and ship working code with clear documentation and low coordination overhead.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Feature Execution: Build and deploy decoupled front-end and full-stack features using Next.js and React, maintaining strict standards around performance, edge delivery, and technical debt minimization.
Agentic Development Loop: Leverage modern AI-assisted engineering tools (Cursor, multi-file context architectures, execution blocks) to accelerate build-to-ship cycles without sacrificing maintainability or code clarity.
Headless Integration: Construct clean, modular front-end components integrated with our Headless CMS (Optimizely / ODP) and downstream microservices.
Data Core Alignment: Collaborate with Data and DevOps engineering to maintain clean contracts across Snowflake ELT pipelines, progressive profiling systems, and automated CI/CD workflows.
