We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 4-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with strongly typed languages such as C# and .Net (Framework and Core), and loosely typed languages like Python and Javascript, as well as a strong understanding of SQL dialects, particularly MS SQL Server. Most importantly, we seek a candidate who applies creative technical thinking and a genuine passion for troubleshooting to master and improve complex systems.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with the potential for renewal.
Time Zone: We prefer to prioritize candidates in Latin America to ensure time zone alignment with our East Coast and Mountain region operations.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
Five or more years of professional software engineering experience 4-6 years of practical experience in languages like C#, .Net
Framework AND Core experience are strongly preferred for this role.
3-5 years of practical experience with languages Python, Javascript
Comfortable with SQL (MS SQL Server specifically)
GOOD TO HAVE:
Proficiency with NServiceBus, MSMQ, Kafka, and AWS are a plus
Ability to adapt and strong eagerness to learn new technology or techniques.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, mathematics or related
area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solve complex problems, sometimes with code
Provide architectural guidance for new and existing systems
Write clean and maintainable code (notice this is 3rd?)
Participate in code reviews with your peers
Participate in team meetings and other department ceremonies
Troubleshoot complex customer issues
Develop strategies for solving common issues that may occur over short-term band-aid
fixes.
