We’re seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join the team. The working hours are 11 am to 8 pm IST.

• We are following Hybrid mode. 2 days at Hyderabad Office (Preferred) OR Remote
• Multinational team – Excellent communication skills in English are needed.
• Start Date: ASAP
• Interview process: 1) Technical interview  (60 mins); 2) Hiring Manager Round (60 mins)
• Overlap Time: 11 am to 8 pm IST.
• The current team is spread across the East Coast, West Coast, India, LATAM, and Ukraine – interface with team India.

• 8+ years with hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting both
  Production and Non-production environments.
• 6+ years of DBA experience working directly with Oracle versions 12 and above
• Must have strong hands-on experience in coding, debugging and tuning Oracle PL/SQL and
  SQL.
• Database tool experience in TOAD, DBVisit Standby, Zoho’s Manage Engine Application
  Manager and Solar Winds DPA or equivalents.
• Oracle Streams or Advanced Queuing
• Oracle Application Express coding
• MS SQL Server Databases
• Linux System Administration.
• Installation, setup and tuning of Linux running Oracle.

• Experience building apps in financial domain is a plus
• Good to have 3+ years hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database
  Administration versions 2012
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Production Database Support and related attributes are described below all requiring hands-on
working experience in production support of Oracle/SQL server databases in a 7/24/365
environment:

• Install, patch and maintain all Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Manage regularly scheduled backups and refreshes.
• Manage Oracle and Sql Server disaster backup and recovery using tools such as RMAN and
  SSRS.
• Tune all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL.
• Able to quickly digest and resolve production related performance issues.
• Tune all SQL Server instance components using tools such as Database Tuning Profiler.
• Manage the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security
  policies.
• Responsible for documenting and maintaining a Disaster Recovery plan for each supported
  system/application.
• Linux bash scripting.
• Able to provide 24/7 on-call rotational duty and some week-ends.

Non-Production Database Support and related attributes are described below. These Database
environments include Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Support, Data Conversion, and
various other internal groups.

• Support multiple application and support teams with numerous on-going projects.
• Provide DBA services to application development teams, including database design,
  database generation, coding, and performance related issues.
• Be instrumental in researching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning
  implementation of new versions of Oracle/SQL server database and database related tools.
• Performs assessments and listens to internal customers to understand and anticipate their
  needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise.
