As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be working together as a lead with a team of skilled software engineers to build out and maintain our Equity Management SaaS Application. And to be responsible for implementing new features, enhancements, and fixes to the product through work items planned in the current sprint and actively participating in planning, refinement, and retrospective meetings.
You will be working in a product team, alongside Engineers and QA Engineers, following an Agile SDLC to create new products and maintain existing applications with C#, .Net, Oracle DB, PL/SQL. We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the team. The working hours are 8 am to 4 pm US Eastern Time.

- Overlap Time: 8 am to 4 pm US Eastern Time.
- The current team is spread across the East Coast, West Coast, India, LATAM, and Ukraine – interface with team India.
- 10+ years of strong Backend API and Database experience with large scale, consumer facing, enterprise level applications
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing SaaS web applications using .Net/.Net Core, C# and SQL (preferably in a product development organization)
- 5+ years of strong design and development experience in Oracle databases and PL/SQL
- Expertise in creating logical and physical data models
- Expertise in SQL for database querying and manipulation
- Expertise in database optimization and performance to analyze database performance, identify
bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Financial Domain Experience: Experience building applications in the financial domain.
- Oracle Database Skills: Proficient in working with Oracle databases, including writing/optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and scripting.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in web applications built with .Net, Angular is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Focus and commitment to solving complex software development items that meet customer expectations.
- Review work items to estimate and assist junior engineers in creating design solutions.
- Be involved with SDLC from requirements to test but own executing development of features & bug fixes that is clean, reusable, maintainable code in C#, .Net, Oracle PL/SQL.
- Make necessary database changes to support ongoing development tasks
- Build quality into all tasks, ensure adequate unit testing and support quality assurance engineers in testing completed items
- Lead code reviews and architecture discussions
