We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

5+ years of experience building and maintaining data pipeline infrastructure, with 2+ years in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and GCP command-line tools.
Proficient in Python and SQL for production-grade data ingestion, wrangling, and transformation; familiarity with Scala, Spark, or DBT is a plus.
Solid understanding of data models, advanced SQL, and CI/CD concepts for continuous integration and deployment of data workflows.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-driven, with a focus on verifying fixes, improving systems iteratively, and preventing production issues.
Design and develop core components for a modern data lake architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficient data processing.
Quickly understand and integrate with existing legacy systems, identifying opportunities for modernization and seamless data flow.
Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership to define technical specifications, architecture, and implementation plans for the data lake ecosystem.
Contribute to the product roadmap, driving execution and alignment with organizational goals and long-term data strategy.
Build proofs of concept (POCs) using modern tools and technologies on top of the data lake, iterating rapidly to solve complex data and systems challenges.
Develop and scale prototypes into robust, production-ready systems that support large-scale data operations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams — including engineers, data scientists, and product managers — in a highly collaborative and agile environment.
Enhance and optimize data infrastructure, improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing data pipelines.
