We are searching for a highly experienced and dynamic Senior IT Manager to join our team. This senior-level role requires a seasoned professional capable of managing and optimizing complex IT systems while providing top-tier support to our internal users. You will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure and supporting our growing team.

The position is mostly remote, though ability to attend office once in a while is preferred
MAIN REQUIREMENTS::
- Extensive experience (8+ years) as an IT professional in a mixed-platform environment, including Linux servers and Windows, MacOS, and Linux clients.
- Advanced expertise in desktop support, particularly with Windows and Linux.
- Proven experience in supporting Google Suite and managing new computer setups.
- In-depth knowledge of VPN and network support.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
GOOD TO HAVE::
- B.S. or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to support users with a wide range of IT needs.
- Experience in start-up environments and application support is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
- Proven ability to lead projects and drive process improvements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES::
IT Systems Management:
Lead the maintenance and support of our internal IT resources, including individual computers and servers, in a cross-platform environment (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
- Architect, configure and maintain remote access technologies, including VPNs and hybrid cloud/on-premises networks.
- Oversee the security of our internal networks and resources, implementing best practices and proactive measures, including compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, or NIST requirements.
- Manage external resources for access control, physical security, voice communications, and other IT services.
- Evaluate, recommend, and deploy solutions based on cloud platform offerings.
- Stay at the forefront of security technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities, developing actionable plans to mitigate risks.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and network topographies, ensuring clear and thorough records to maintain up-to-date documentations for compliance and audit purposes.
Helpdesk Administration:
- Provide advanced desktop support in a mixed Windows, MacOS, and Linux environment.
- Lead the setup of new computers, manage complex password reset protocols, and oversee accounts in Google Suite.
- Implement automation or scripting deployment tools to streamline IT processes.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to safeguard company data and resources.
- Support internal users with diverse and complex IT needs, troubleshooting advanced technical issues.
- Manage the entire hardware lifecycle through asset management and inventory tracking.
- Provide onsite and remote support, ensuring high-quality communication and swift resolution of issues.
- Lead IT projects and drive continuous improvement of IT processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
