Remote Azure Cloud Engineer (Senior, Windows/.NET, LATAM)

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with solutions architects and business stakeholders to identify, design, develop and deploy infrastructure engineering solutions for our TMS platform. Qualified candidates will have exposure to supporting production customer environments and an eagerness to learn and grow.

Team members are mostly in North Carolina, the USA, and  LATAM countries. At least 5 hours of EST business hours overlap is mandatory.

• Overlap time with EST. From 1-2 pm to 9-10 pm. It should also be required to cover a few extra hours of on-call after that in case any emergencies arise. (5:30 pm to 3 am)
• The interview process will contain a Technical interview followed by an Architect round – 1hr.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience, with a minimum of 6+ years in an operations role.
• Extensive experience supporting large-scale Windows/.NET applications for over 6+ years, including Azure-based environments.
• Proficiency in managing and implementing Kubernetes solutions, coupled with expertise in implementing Infrastructure as Code principles and technologies such as Terraform.
• Comprehensive automation experience encompassing Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, Groovy, Python, etc., along with hands-on experience in collecting performance data, analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning. Additionally, familiarity with full stack troubleshooting and SCM (Git) is essential.
• Seeking an individual contributor experienced in Azure and Kubernetes stack, capable of guiding the team towards efficient operations and decision-making.

• Hands on Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana experience
• Experience managing Helm templated Kubernetes environments
• Understanding of micro-service architectures particularly with the Spring Boot framework
• Experience with usage of common application protocols and messages (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON, JDBC, JMS/MQ)
• Exposure to application threading and concurrency concerns. Troubleshooting environment related issues (response times, connectivity, authentication, authorization, configuration, etc.)
• Experience in hosted global datacenter environments supporting geographically dispersed systems
• Experience supporting multiple compute platforms (distributed/tiered architecture, AWS, bare metal, virtualization (VMWARE))

• Manage SAAS applications in Azure and Windows environments, ensuring their smooth operation.
• Assist in implementing Cloud-optimized solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Develop and execute plans for the rapid deployment of new technologies to keep pace with evolving requirements.
• Triage tickets raised by the Client Services organization to address issues promptly and effectively.
• Design, build, and deliver effective solutions focused on availability and reliability to meet operational goals.
• Implement diagnostics and monitoring tools to instrument the application architecture, providing real-time performance data for identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Support and troubleshoot OS, application, virtualization, and containerization issues, while also driving automation initiatives to streamline processes.
