Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a strong background in data modelling, database design, and data management.
Develop and optimise ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between different sources and destinations.
An extensive experience designing cloud-based data and analytical platforms on AWS.
Knowledge and experience with any of the following: DataBricks, Snowflake, Data Governance (Collibra, Talend), iPaaS (Workato, Mulesoft), Data Visualization (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI), or Master Data Management systems.
- Comfortable presenting designs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong leadership abilities, providing technical guidance to the delivery team for successful project outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Define data architecture principles, standards, and best practices to guide data management initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Design and implement logical and physical data models that support data integration, storage, and retrieval.
- Define data structures, data flows, and data mappings to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis.
- Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies and tools to support data architecture goals.
- Establish data governance processes and policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulations.
- Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms to identify and resolve data issues proactively.
