We’re looking for a MLOps Engineer to join our Development team.
This project team collaborates during regular working hours to develop and deploy a personalized content recommendation system. The team leverages technologies like React/Typescript, Python machine learning, HTML/CSS, Maven, Git/Github, and Kotlin/Java to deliver a high-quality solution meeting user requirements and industry standards.
• Experience as a senior level MLOps engineer;
• Strong software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, ER modelling)
• Professional experience with a server-side language (Python)
• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, familiar with standard
logging and monitoring tools used to investigate issues
• Experience with continuous integration, or ideally, continuous delivery
• Strong familiarity with build tools (e.g. Maven) and version control tools (e.g. Git/Github)
• Experience working in agile teams, following Scrum or Kanban, participating in regular
ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives
• Experience using project management and workflow tools (e.g. Jira)
• Previous experience of software development in the financial markets, Fintech or Insurtech is
preferable
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Pro-active, self-motivated and able to use own initiative
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation and planning
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

Model Deployment & Maintenance | CI/CD pipelines for both Asset and Policy RAM models; MLFlow packaging and containerisation; runtime diagnostics |
Feature Store ETL | Maintain and extend FS connectors (e.g. AIR ingestion, pub/sub integration, asset-level features for both models) |
Claims Matching Pipeline | Automation of LLM-extracted claims into training-ready formats, aligned with exposure records |
Geospatial Data Systems | H3 indexing and ingestion of open geospatial data, key for enhancing ExcCat granularity |
Monitoring & Observability | Build/maintain alerts, triage production issues, unblock DS from repetitive diagnostics |
Tech Debt & Infra Support | Address brittleness in current servers, unblock RAM architecture evolution, support deployment of updated models |
MLOps Coaching | Pairing with DS and Actuaries on Kedro, MLFlow, testing, and productionisation best practices |
Cross-Squad Liaison | Handle interface with MOPs, unblock FS-related delays, and buffer the squad from infra-level noise |
