Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python, LATAM, EUROPE)

About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Research & Insights. You will be instrumental in developing company’s Decision Maker Insights product, whose objective is to showcase to customers the efficacy of our platform in achieving their desired outcomes. You will join a distributed team of skilled software engineers dedicated to the continuous delivery of business value. Daily responsibilities include building APis and data visualizations.

• Overlap Time: 8 am to 1 pm EST.
• NY-based core team
• Bulgaria-based development team
• The project is documented in Confluence. Lighter documentation, but within the last 6 months that increased significantly.
• Slack is used for all internal communication.
• Figma is used for all the front-end sketches
• Python / FastAPI – 50% of the work.
  Javascript / React (CSS skills required) – 40% of the work.
  Terraform here and there, Containers – 10% of the work.

• You have 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• You have served as tech lead on a team before.
• You have strong computer science fundamentals.
• You have strong software development skills in a server-side language (Python ideally, Java, Scala, etc…)
• You have built applications using Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPl (ideally).
• You have extensive experience designing application data models.
• You have DevOps experience, in creating builds, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestrating cloud resources, and infrastructure-as-code.
• You have strong JavaScript (ideally React) development skills.
• You are an expert CSS developer and Ul designer.
• You are an excellent verbal and written communicator.

• Your language of choice is Python.
• Your front-end JS framework of choice is React.
• AWS/Terraform is your preferred cloud environment.

• You have designed full-stack applications and helped with the architecting of complex, distributed systems.

• Develop APIs: Design and maintain APIs for various applications.
• Create Data Visualizations: Build tools and dashboards for interpreting complex data.
• Database Management: Handle secure data storage and retrieval.
• Code Review and Testing: Maintain code quality through reviews and tests.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and fix technical issues across the stack.
• Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products.
