DevOps Engineer (Fintech, Azure, (HYD/BLR) India)

We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the team. The working hours are 1 pm to 10pm IST

The DevOps engineer will be part of the central DevOps team with responsibilities across different
products in ISW. This development services team is responsible for building and maintaining the
development and higher environments (Staging/Production/DR) environments/platforms within the
product engineering department and hence making sure that the engineering teams within the
department can focus on application development.

• The current team is spread across the East Coast, West Coast, India, LATAM, and Ukraine – interface with team India.

• 4+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
•  Proven work experience as a DevOps engineer for On-premises, Cloud and Hybrid environments
• Proven work experience with implementing CI/CD in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo or similar
  for Enterprise web / desktop software
• Proven work experience with Continuous Testing / Continuous Monitoring technologies
• Proven work experience with Building and Maintaining Dev, Staging and Production
  environments
• Proven work experience with orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform and
  similar IaC technologies
• Proven work experience with Git and other SCM tools
• Proven work experience with Python, PowerShell, and/or any other scripting technologies,
  automated software installs and upgrades
• Proven work experience with Windows / Linux administration, scripting
•  Proven work experience with Desktop and Web Technologies, Service APIs
• Proven work experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.

• Play a hands-on technical role involving software builds and deployments tied to development,
  code documentation, and unit test framework in multi-tier and multi-tenant (SaaS) web-based
  applications.
• Administer source code management systems like git and TFVC including but not limited to branching, merging, optimizing and routine maintenance concurrently for multiple product platforms.
• Lead the specification, development, test, and deployment of tools to support coding, and
  coordinate and push the code from development to production.
• Provide feedback for release reporting documentation.
• Consult and co-ordinate with Development and Quality Assurance departments on new
  software releases, version control, and testing.
• Analyze information and progress during the SDLC to ensure that releases are planned,
  developed, validated, and implemented in the testing and production environments in a timely
  manner.
• Work closely with engineers to identity and resolve software build and deployment related
  issues during the release cycle.
• Administer Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps Server and manage work item
  customizations, upgrades and general maintenance
• Strategize and implement moves, migrations and integrations across release management tools and version control systems like Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira etc.
